On Dorks and Dorkdom

The goal here is to name 5 reasons (good ones) why I am a dork, and explain them. Afterwards, I will tag 5 other people to do the same. So, here goes:

1) I listen to remixed video game music. www.ocremix.org - check it out. Now. You know you want to. And while youre at it, check out the forums. I think a corollary to the VG music is that I hang out on the OCR forums. I might not post as much as some regulars, but still. You get the idea.

2) I play video games like an obsessed whore. Well, not literally, and there are worse cases. But still, with this I can add on to the fact that I read PCGamer, listen to remixed music (but that still gets a stand alone topic), and can hold in depth critiques and debates about most all things game related. Unless it's console only. Then I'm not as proficient, but I still know my way around them.

3) I do high school theatre. And love almost every minute. Now, I'm not into lighting/sound, but I do love building sets, as well as acting. I could continute to ramble on about how much I <3 LBT, but I think I'll keep it short and say "I <3 LBT".

4) Boy Scouts. Yeah, I'm a Scout, as I hope most of you know. Now, some of you might think that the BSA isn't that dorky, but some of you do, so I figure I'd put this here. On a side note, I'll mention that my Eagle Court of Honor is coming around sometime soon, so keep your eyes open for updates. Maybe if you all come, I can forgive you for your absence from my Eagle Project.

5) DDR. This is more than just a video game, it's a way of life. I think that says enough.

On a side note, my Mom knows this one woman who does alot of work with anime and such. She's done a whole giganormus list of stuffs, and she has a (fan made) website at www.animedreamgoddess.us. I have started some email correspondence as well, so if y'all have any questions for a seasoned voice actor, just give me a holler and I'll foreward them to her!
